Luna Light Myofascial Release Centers, LLC
Luna Light Myofascial Release Centers in Houston opened in Summer of 2017 to begin changing the face of healthcare in Houston. While working as a physical therapist Susan Luna began taking classes in John Barnes MFR and was astounded at the results she was seeing with her patients. She saw that so many patients have been suffering for years and years with chronic pain from previous surgeries, injuries, and disorders that were being not only treated, but healed with John Barnes MFR. Many conditions that doctors and therapists had told patients were hopeless were in fact only hopeless without John Barnes MFR. This new form of treatment takes up to 2000 pounds of force off of critical structures like muscles, nerves, blood vessels, and lymph vessels that are being crushed by this internal straight jacket. The treatment is completely safe and gentle as the body will unwind and release the pressure with sustained distraction, compression or soft tissue manipulation in a way that allows the patient true relief. Patient testimonies are remarkable and patients, once treated, become advocates of this treatment for others. Let us restore your light in life and free you from pain and restriction.

About Myofascial Release
Myofascial release (MFR) speeds recovery, decreases pain and inflammation, reduces/treats scars, and restores range of motion even years after initial injury. Patients can receive this treatment while receiving traditional services and will allow patients to heal faster and more completely. Patients can continue their chiropractic and/or physical therapy services while receiving this treatment. MFR Treatment involves the patient receiving a gentle pull on the area affected followed by the patient's fascial system unwinding and releasing pressure on nerves, blood vessels, and muscles with immediate results.

Testimonials
Most amazing pain relief therapy I've ever experienced! I came in 3 weeks ago not able to pick anything up and barely able to raise my arm. This had been going on for about 3-4 months. After 3 visits, I'm almost 100% back to normal. She's also helped me get back into alignment (from years of limping) and reduce the pain from hip replacement earlier this year. One of the sweetest and most caring people you'll ever know. Susan has a heart of gold! ๐

I came to Susan from Fort Myers Florida. At a recent family gathering in Western Pennsylvania my cousin, who lives in Houston, saw me walking and asked me what was wrong with me. I told her that I had scoliosis and a degenerated hip from my misaligned spine. My cousin immediately recommended Susan Luna because my cousin's daughter also has scoleosis and is treated by Susan. I know it's a long way to come from Florida but to me it was worth a try. I've been through steroid injections and physical therapy. I've been on heavy duty non steroidal anti- inflammatory drugs and prednisone which I hate taking due to all the side effects. I don't want to take narcotic pain meds and REALLY don't want to have rods placed in my back. My right hip and knee are deteriorated from the misaligned spine and I need total knee and hip replacement. I'm trying to avoid that. Susan to me was my last best hope. What did I have to lose? I am a pharmacist with an advanced degree and I speak with knowledge from a medical background. Susan spent over 4 hours in 2 days of sessions realigning my pelvis, spine, hip and knee. My back is 100% better after 2 sessions. I can stand up straight again and my back doesn't hurt when I walk. My hip is 70% better and I still may need hip replacement surgery but I feel like that can be delayed for a while because the hip pain and pressure are greatly diminished. Susan has made my back so much better and Iam just so grateful to her. What she does is amazing. If you're in a lot of pain you should try her. What do you have to lose?

I was so pleased with my therapy. Susanโs therapy is soothing but effective. I was there for help with balance and knee pain. I walked with a limp from arthritis in my knee and my posture was bad. Susan worked her magic to help me walk without a limp which in turn made me more balanced. It has been several months and I still have a better range of motion and much less knee pain.
